Dr. Ane Larrañaga-Vera is a postdoctoral researcher at NYU Langone Health who is passionate about finding new therapies that would improve health and quality of life of patients.
She specializes on translational research in the field of bone regeneration with particular focus in the healing of difficult fractures and severe bone loss. Before joining NYU, she completed her doctoral study on the influence of metabolic factors on osteoarthritis pathogenesis.
Dr. Larrañaga-Vera is committed to innovation and entrepreneurship and has participated in technological transference initiatives and startup competitions.
