Sophia is a strategy consultant and a biotechnology enthusiast. She completed her PhD in Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine & Memorial Sloan Kettering Institute. Her research interests were focused on using mouse model to investigate the functional interaction between neural stem cells and blood vessels to provide insights for treating neurological diseases.
She currently works at a life science strategy consulting firm in New York City. She has extensive experience working on market access strategy, specialty product launch & life-cycle management, and value-based care landscaping projects for large and mid-size pharmaceutical companies. She is the Co-Founder of the New York branch of Innovation Forum and leading the initiatives to build the bridge between early-stage innovative biotechnology companies, academia, and industry.
