Are you interested in learning about careers in entrepreneurship? Have you ever thought about starting a company? Want to learn about careers where you can advise entrepreneurs and incubate and fund start-ups? Then join us for a networking event and reception, where you will connect with entrepreneurship professionals and with PhDs who have started companies! During this event, you will learn about:
  • Different careers for PhDs in life sciences innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Individual stories about how scientists have transitioned into these careers
  • How to acquire skills during your training to be competitive for these careers
One professional will be seated at each of 6 tables with 4-5 students and postdocs per table. The speakers will rotate between tables every 10 minutes so that you can meet and learn from a variety of different professionals. A networking reception will then follow the speed networking tables.
